What exactly is the complete workflow of a machine vision system?

The general workflow of a complete machine vision system is as follows: 1. The workpiece positioning detector identifies when an object has moved close to the center of the camera system’s field of view and sends a trigger pulse to the image acquisition unit. 2. The image acquisition unit, according to a pre-set program and delay, sequentially issues start pulses to both the camera and the lighting system. 3. The camera either halts its current scan and immediately resumes a new frame, or remains in standby mode until the start pulse arrives—upon receiving the pulse, it initiates a fresh frame scan. 4. Before starting a new frame scan, the camera activates the exposure mechanism, with the exposure duration pre-configured in advance.
