What auxiliary instruments can be added to a circuit board functional tester?
The more instruments and meters you have, the more complex your testing system becomes—and the greater the potential for interference among them. Instruments that can be added to the system include: a programmer (J-Link), a benchtop multimeter, programmable power supplies (AC and DC), programmable electronic loads (DC), a power meter, a logic analyzer, a spectrum analyzer, and many others. In fact, any instrument capable of being automatically controlled via serial ports, USB ports, or interfaces like 485 and CAN can seamlessly integrate into our functional test system. Currently, our company’s FCT equipment supports devices connected through communication protocols such as RS232/RS485, CAN, GPIB, TEK-VISA, and VISA interfaces.
