Today's cable tester software can significantly reduce the need for manual editing of test steps.
Now, the software can learn to identify short-circuit conditions based on standard sample lines and automatically generate insulation and withstand voltage test files using this short-circuit information. It can create both pairwise cross-tests as well as 1-to-many testing configurations. (Previously, all insulation and withstand voltage test steps had to be manually edited.)
